What is the Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation? What are the features that make the Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation unique? Why is Transitional Employment beneficial to members and to the employers who hire them? In looking back, can one can identify lasting strengths of the model? What about new threats to it’s power and sustainability? Is there a role for this model in today’s arsenal of mental health services?
Program Presenter: Robert B. Harvey, ED.M, CPRP, LCSW earned his Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University. He was the Founding Executive Director of Harbor House in Patterson, NJ, and the Founding Executive Director of Independence Center in St. Louis, MO. He is a Past President of the Missouri Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services, and has served on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services.
